A View In My Eyes

Hello All,

My name is the Cheshire Cat, or that is what I am called. As you may have figured, I am a cat from Alice in Wonderland, a wonderfully happy cat, yet mysterious. I am love cat and will never be seen without a smile on my face, yet some still will fear me. But enough about me, let me tell you about Alice. I first meet in the Duchess' house, where sweet little Alice came in. She seemed bewildered as she came in, she must have seen the Footman. Everyone always make those funny looks after seeing him, but continuing on. She then spotted the Duchess and starts to talk to her. I just sat quietly with a grin on my face. But then, oh my, Alice noticed me. She noticed my grin. That really is my best feature you know (starting to blush). Oh but the duchess wont continue talk to her about me, shucks. That must be because she is worried about her game of croquet with the queen, well I'll introduce myself later. Sorry, back to Alice, she continues to look around strangely and ponder. Oh that dang baby is now in her arms. She is quite surprised by this, yet not as surprise as a sudden bang, made by the chef, who just threw a pan at the duchess but missed. Alice then turn and walked out the door with the baby in hand. I knew I must follower her to see if the baby was actually a pig. So I snuck along and jump in a tree just a little ways in front of her. Then all of a sudden just as I expected, the baby turned into a pig, as I expected. I at this point startled Alice once she saw me up in my tree, but I sat quietly until she spoke. When she spoke it was in such a nice voice, wonder where to go. I asked where she would like to go, but all she cared was that she got someplace. So I decided to direct towards the March Hare. We proceed to talk about her being mad and Wonderland being mad, strange talk to be having with that young of girl. Short nice conversation as she walked, until she came to the March Hare where I let her go. What a great girl she was. One I had enjoyed, such a short talk though. Oh well, I'm sure I will see her again.
